Management Team Ken Grundy / Executive Director
Maestro! was founded by Ken Grundy in 1994 with the mission of providing focused travel and touring services to the performing arts. Ken has an extensive background in the travel industry spanning 30 years. Prior to founding Maestro! he was responsible for the corporate travel accounts of such global giants as Shell Oil, Pilkington and Unilever, and later worked as a senior manager for American Express in Europe. His personal interest in opera and classical music led him to start working with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, looking after their touring needs as they approached their 150th anniversary. This experience led to the formation of Maestro! and the company has grown steadily ever since. Over the past thirteen years, he has increasingly specialised in providing customised travel and touring solutions to the international performing arts community. Working closely with agencies such as CAMI, IMG, and kd Hans Ulrich Schmid, Ken has successfully arranged international touring solutions for a diverse mix of internationally celebrated artists, orchestras, dance and opera companies including Anne-Sophie Mutter, Deborah Voigt, London Philharmonic Orchestra, Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, Helikon Opera and KODO.
